OSOPADEC Chairman, Sam Erejuwa today joined eminent leaders to felicitate Muslims across the globe on the occasion of year 2023 Eid-El-Maulud celebration.
Erejuwa in a goodwill message congratulated the Islamic Faithfuls in the Commission, as well as those in the mandate areas for being alive to witness the annual celebration, urging them to always imbibe the spirit of reverence to Almighty Allah and obedience to HIS injunctions. These he said were the hallmarks of the Prophet’s teachings, and the virtues he exemplified.
Erejuwa said: “As Muslims across the world observe these year’s Eid-El-Maulud, it is a great privilege to associate with you.
“Eid-El-Maulud is celebrated in commemoration of the day of birth of the Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W).
“The Holy Prophet, during his lifetime lived a humble life; dedicated to charity, selflessness and total obedience to the commandments of Almighty Allah.
“As we remember this day, and merry, I enjoin you not to deviate from the teachings of the Prophet. Always strive to please Almighty Allah in your thoughts, words and actions.
“Let us endeavour to tolerate one another and coexist peacefully irrespective of our religious differences or ethnic affiliations. ALLAH is Love, and HE expects us to Love One Another”.
Erejuwa who commended the Faithfuls for the fervent prayers made towards the recuperation of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON while on medical leave, equally admonished Nigerians irrespective of their beliefs to keep praying for leaders at all levels of governance.
The OSOPADEC Chairman expressed optimism that the economic policies of the President Tinubu administration will lead the Nation to sustainable growth and economic prosperity and the recovery of her lost glories.
