The hope of an accessible and functional health care which had once eluded the people of Agadagba Obon in Ese-Odo Local Government Area is gradually being restored as the construction of the abandoned General Hospital Agadagba Obon is fast approaching completion.
While handing over the project to the Contractor Cimar Valexim Nig. Ltd mid this year, the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Sam Erejuwa reiterated his commitment to the completion of abandoned projects in the mandate areas.
He expressed hope that the General Hospital Agadagba Obon will be completed and commissioned for public use in no distant time.
According to the report made available by the Commission’s Project Department, on 27th September, 2022, construction work has attained 60% overall completion.
The report indicates that, Substructure Block Work and Superstructure Block Work are at 100% completion.
Roof Carcass (Wall plate, Tie Beam, Kingpost, Rafters and Purlins) are done to specifications, while Roof Covering is at 70% completion.
