OSOPADEC Chairman, Elder Sam Erejuwa has congratulated Muslims in the Mandate Areas, Ondo State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of this year Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
Erejuwa made this statement in his Salah message tagged: Eid-el-Fitr: “An Occasion for Peaceful Co-existence , Sacrifice, Love and Obedience”.
“Eid-el-Fitr festival is a period to exhibit love, sacrifice and unity as encapsulated in the tenents of Islam. I therefore enjoin us to emulate these tenants to sustain the lessons of the Holy month and replicate them in our daily lives as well as promote harmony and peaceful coexistence in our dear nation”.
While urging stakeholders especially the traditional and religious leaders to sustain prevailing peace in the State, particularly in the Niger Delta region, Erejuwa assured that his administration under the leadership of Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON remains committed to the provision of basic amenities, viable projects and sustainable programmes that will bring about enduring legacies for all.
The Chairman therefore wishes all Muslims a pleasant celebration as he appeals for continual prayers, love, justice, equity and fairness in total obedience to the will of God.
