Chairman, Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Sam Erejuwa on Tuesday led the Board and Core Management Team of the Commission to condole with the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN on the death of his beloved mother, Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu (JP).
Speaking on behalf of his team, Erejuwa commiserated with the Governor, his siblings and family on the demise of Mama Bosede Akeredolu, describing her passage as a great loss. He however enjoined the Governor to take solace in the fact that mama lived a good life and has eventually gone to rest with the Lord.
“The Board and Management of OSOPADEC commiserate with you, our father and leader on the painful loss of ‘maami’. No time is good enough to lose a beloved mother. We say you are not alone in a critical moment like this. We will always stand by you and pray for you.
“We pray God grant you and all the children mama left behind the fortitude to bear this loss. May you grow old and be celebrated in your old age.” Erejuwa said.
Responding, the bereaved Governor Akeredolu appreciated Sam Erejuwa and his team for coming to commiserate with him during this trying time. He prayed they will all live long and be survived by successful children.
In his words: “I appreciate you all for this show of love. Yes, the death of ‘maami’ is painful, but we are happy she lived up to 90 years and survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren”.
Governor Akeredolu recalled the devoted life lived by her mother and her fervent prayer life which was not limited to herself, her children and family, but also extended to the peace of Ondo State and the prosperity of her residents.
