The Chairman of OSOPADEC, Hon. (Barr.) Olugbenga Edema, today, received the team of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State led by their Commandant, Commandant Abiakam Umanu, at the Oba-Ile office of the Commission.
The new State Commandant while seeking a stronger collaboration with the Commission, said that NSCDC has a critical stake with OSOPADEC in the delivery of its mission to its mandate areas and thus solicited for the more support towards the programmes of their organization, particularly during her tenure.
Hon. Gbenga Edema expressed the readiness of the Commission to collaborate with the NSCDC and assured them of its cooperation.
The Secretary to the Commission, Dr. Victor Koledoye appreciated the organization for their continued support and great partnership especially in the area of security, peace, and order in the Niger Delta areas, hoping for a more robust relationship between the two organisations.
