OSOPADEC and Araromi Olokola may sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the powering of the seaside community.
Chairman of OSOPADEC, Barr. Olugbenga Edema, hinted at this when he led the Board and Management of the Commission on a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Alara of Araromi, Oba Adekunle Adesuyi.
OSOPADEC team had earlier inspected the generating sets which the Commission had got installed in the Community as part of Rural Electrification project pending the extension of the national grid to the area.
The MoU will not be unrelated to the fueling of the huge generating sets.
Oba Adesuyi informed guests that surveyors from NDDC had visited the area apparently in reference to the construction of the proposed 50km Araromi-Lekki road regarding which the State Government and NDDC had signed an MoU.
