OSOPADEC ICT Training: First Batch ends, Second Batch begins.

The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, OSOPADEC, on Tuesday 17th of April, 2018, concluded the first batch of a 10-day Workplace ICT Training pooling Board, Management and staff of the Commission.

The In-house training holding at the Oba-Ile office of the Commission, is aimed at enhancing the capacity and productivity of the workforce.

OSOPADEC Chairman, Hon. (Barr.) Olugbenga Edema, who had declared the workshop open, said that the initiative was to train and equip the staff with basic knowledge of Computer (Microsoft Office Tools, Use of the internet) and its application to the workplace.

Late last year at a retreat for management staff of the Commission, Hon. Edema pledged to ensure that all members of staff would be ICT trained.

In his words “We are concentrating on equipping the staff with knowledge of computer and this will be done in batches to ensure that everyone is fully involved”.

The second batch of this training comprising 63 staff members has commenced.
